We also take on marble and granite work outside the memorial trade. What these jobs have in common is that none of them is sold in a standard size: each is measured on site, cut in the workshop and fitted in place.
For stairs, treads and risers are measured separately, with handrails and skirtings finished in the same stone. Water fountains, window sills, thresholds and cladding all follow the same route.
Material is chosen by looking at the colour and the grain. Which stone suits which job is decided together, based on where it will sit and the surface finish expected of it.
