The surround marks the boundary of the grave and holds the soil within it. In family plots it is also what gathers several graves inside a single frame.
Height, thickness and top profile vary with the job. A low kerb draws a plain edge; a taller run with balusters and posts encloses the grave more firmly. Besides marble and granite, we also carry out the painted concrete work commonly seen in existing cemeteries.
A surround is usually planned together with the grave itself. Added later, it is adapted to the dimensions of the base already in place.
